FET Sports Universal Steering Wheel Boss
The FET Sports boss is a 12 hole universal steering wheel boss which allows fitting to both Nardi 74mm PCD and OMP / Momo 70mm PCD steering wheels.
This product is made from Aluminium using the Die-Cast manufacturing method. The part is subsequently machined to perfection. Due to the Aluminium construction it is 30% lighter than similar steel boss kits and will not suffer from massive metal fatigue. This means it will be a long lasting boss that will not rust easily.
FET Sports Boss kits are available for a particular car fitment. Two types are available, the first is for direct fitment where an airbag is fitted as an OEM item from the factory and the second model is where no airbag is fitted. Simply select the original manufacturer and vehicle combination from the list to match your vehicle.
When the vehicle does not have electronic item fitted in the steering wheel, then the “normal” type should be used. The “air-bag” type is to be used when the steering wheel is replacing an air bag wheel. This will normally result in the airbag warning lamp lighting up, however this will be stopped by installing the special harness included with the air-bag type FET Sports Boss.
** Note. Where there are a lot of Accessories (ACC) installed on the steering wheel such as cruise control. These may not be able to be used with bosses in some situations.
Fitment takes around 35 minutes by the home mechanic.
