Revised for 2009. Bride Gias gets even better.
This is Bride’s latest design in reclineable sports seats. Using the knowledge and techniques gained from making seats for 25 years, they have managed to make a seat that combines the support of a full racing seat, with the comfort and practicality needed for a daily driven car.
In order to be able to do this, the seat is based around a Carbon/Aluminium Threaded monocoque shell, with a reclineable centre mechanism made from lightweight Aluminium. The Low Max system is also integrated into this seat to allow for the lowest slung seating position possible.
This seat utilises a reclining design, but unlike some of the other models, has a less intrusive head support for comfort and good visibility during everyday use.
Special High Support Foam is used which provides equal weight distribution throughout the racing seat padding. This means at high speeds, the forces felt as the driver are reduced.
The knee supports are raised within this seat for easy pedal operation at high cornering G forces. A split knee support cushion is utilized for extra flexibility.
These seats have been revised in 2009 for easier reclining and perfect position setting with a one touch release and 40 stage position system. However the seat can no longer be reclined absolutely flat.
Other revisions replace the Carbon Kevlar monocoque with a Carbon Aluminium monocoque for increased strength.
Note: These seats also have a Low Cushion Type variation with lower leg cusions. Where the steering wheel and seat sill have minimal knee clearance such as the 180SX (S13,14,15), the Skyline (R32,33,34<4WD>) & RX-8 (SE3P), the cushion of the knee section is made lower than standard.
World-renowned professional racecar driver Keiichi Tsuchiya has only high praises for the comfort and holding performance of the BRIDE GIAS Super Seat. The enhanced design is based on the idea that a high performance street car can also be used for the track, thus improving the versatility of the seat.
Please take care to study the different sizes of all the various Bride Seats. We can assure you that once you sit in the correct Bride Seat for your own body shape and size, you won’t sit down in a car and ever feel as comfortable again!
This is why Bride seats are used in all the Newera Demo Cars!
